To be a winner in the market, you need to have a good network of people working for you. Building trust within that network thus can make or break your business. To be a successful networking person, you need to know a few things.

1. Learn to listen. Not just listen and forget, but remember what they talked about.

2. Learn to be pro-active. It can be easier to make more friends that way.

3. Learn every person's name by heart. People would feel more personal when you remember their names.

4. Be ready to change topic anytime that person is losing interested. The topic must be prepared beforehand.

7. Be ready for changes along the way. There might be unforeseen circumstances. Never be scare to make decision on the go.

8. Ask the smart question, and get the right answer. If the talk isn't helpful, then you asked the wrong question.

9. Always do a follow up. Follow up shows your interest in the network. Call that person out for lunch to make sure he remembers you.

10. Remember that networking is about building relationship. Be yourselves and make people trust you to give you business.
