You barely have time to cook a well balanced meal for dinner, and if not for cereal many of us would starve for breakfast. But what about Lunch? Just getting out of the house can be one of the busiest and most stressful times of the day. Even if we don’t want to admit it, everyone stops at those fast food joints from time to time and did you know there are some easy way to cut calories out of the fats food menu.
1. Dump the Bun, hamburgers are a great source of protein but the bun has little of no nutritional value.
2. Avoid the “special” sauces, most of those are mayonnaise based which can add lots of fat and hidden calories.
3. Look for Salads, there are always a few salads on the menu but make sure to watch the cheese, breaded chicken, croutons, and order the dressing on the side.
4. Water or Caffeine Free Soda, that extra large bucket of pop is a huge pile of calories, and even the diet stuff can to contribute to metabolic syndrome, the precursor to type II diabetes.
